Orchids are considered one of the most important symbolsof Chinese culture. They represent Spring as a flower of the four seasons and is one the Four Gentlemen: a grouping of flowers that represent important Chinese virtues. The orchid is upheld for its subtle aura. Despite its fragility, it maintains a sense of humility and nobility and is appealing withoutbeing fragrant.
